Postpartum depletion isn’t just in your head.

🌿 Here are 3 ways to begin supporting your body through postpartum depletion:

Nourish deeply, not restrict.
Focus on warm, mineral-rich, blood-building foods: broths, grass-fed meats, liver, root vegetables, herbal infusions, and healthy fats. Food is your foundation.
Replenish key minerals daily.
Think: magnesium, sodium, potassium, iron, and zinc. These are often wiped out in pregnancy, birth, and breastfeeding. Trace mineral drops, adrenal cocktails, and nourishing teas can help.
Rest without guilt.
Rest is not laziness. It’s medicine. Say no more. Ask for help. Rest when baby rests. Your nervous system deserves softness.

I’m not here to demonize interventions, I’m no stranger to the fact that sometimes they are inevitable & are necessary life saving measures. BUT that doesn’t go without acknowledging that they are heavily over used within the birth systems. This is why it is so important to educate yourself on interventions and the benefits / risks of them so that you know your options well before birth & can make decisions and not feel rushed or scared into making them with little information.
